
Danny Hall is an accomplished trombonist, arranger and educator. Danny has played with music icons such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Kahn, Beyoncé, Gladys Knight, Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige and others. He has arranged music for The Isley Bothers, BET honors and BET celebration of Gospel under the direction of Ray Chew. Danny has performed on Broadway shows such as “Chicago”, “Memphis”, “Dreamgirls”, “Carousel”, “Annie”, “Christmas Story”, “Motown”, “Shuffle Along” and “Ain’t Too Proud”. Outside the commercial arena Danny has played with the Sphinx Virtouso Orchestra, New England Symphonic Ensemble, Soulful Symphony, Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band, Birdland Big Band and the Vanguard Orchestra. Since the age of 8 Danny has played trombone in church and is currently serving as a pianist at his current church. Danny is currently playing various Broadway shows, chamber ensembles, big bands as well as teaching band at Hedgepeth-Williams Middle School of the Arts in Trenton, New Jersey.
