
Trenton Youth Theater director Victoria Davidjohn, Princeton University Class of 2019, is a writer, theater director, and lighting designer. A recipient of the Martin A. Dale Fellowship and the New York Women’s Foundation Directing Apprenticeship, she is writing and composing a musical on the Black women of the Civil Rights Movement while based in NYC. At Princeton, she was the recipient of the Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts and directed a 75- person community-based production of The Odyssey at the Berlind Theatre (McCarter Theatre), which included members of Trenton Circus Squad, Trenton Children’s Chorus, and HomeFront NJ, as well as current Princeton University students. Her past projects include lightning designer of Janet Wide Awake at Passage Theatre and dramaturg and co-lighting designer of OK Trenton at Passage Theatre. She currently serves as associate director of Into the Woods at New York City Center.
